Biography I discovered photography through my now 83 year old grandfather, who is yet active in several artisitc ranges.

At the end of the year 1997 I made my first photographic attempts with my grandfather' s "Praktika" reflex camera and felt much pleasure in taking pictures from "still" untouched motives.

In 1998 I became my first own reflex camera, a F50 from Nikon - with "her" I discovered my love to photography. At each corner, at any day- and nighttime, I discovered new exciting motives and perspectives.

I snaped around Magdeburg and Lindhorst in the Colbitz Letzlinger heath, also on journeys to Czechia, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy and trips within Germany.
My attention applied thereby to everyday things,
like stairs, archways or labels/signs around the city, plants and stones in nature.

I didn't want to pay much attention to portrait or studio photography, because I wanted to discover the natural, pristine character of my motives - the state of pure beeing - without intervening the happening directly (and I still want this today). To discover the motive, not to prepare it shall be the center of my attention.

Recently I turned to candid shots and photojournalism. Trips to Paris, Israel and Pakistan left sustainable impressions.
